Yep yep it’s that time again. I’ve registered a team SPR 1 for the Cyclo Sportif 104km in York on Sunday 31 July.
So far I have recruited Megs, Alison, Amanda and Lorraine for the team and I believe one Mrs Jordan Brock was interested too (make 
sure you lot register by the way)
Who wants to play in my team? (please see photo for my sportif CV history!) I believe you can have a maximum of 9.
What would be even better is if another 4-9 people wanted to form a 2nd SPR team to show the strength of the club.

I know that it seems expensive but talk to anyone who has done one before and they’ll tell you it was worth it for the fun that they had.

I will get onto organising a fast’ish’ group now.. I was thinking of not doing it as not really feeling good and I have not been up a hill for a very long time..

I’ll have to pass on the Sunday ride unless someone else is bringing their kids along ??
Can we look into arranging some SPR member participation rides of our own – ie organised by our club? I love doing the team time trial thing “cyclo style” (when the route is flat, that is …) but the cost of these cyclo sportif things is getting out of control! But perhaps I’m ticking the “too hard” box?
