ride routes 6th & 7th september

spr ride angel
mel – spr ride angel. get your photo with the wings after the saturday ride.

cycle training involves counting.  counting kilometers, counting watts, counting metres climbed, counting calories.  i am trying to get ready for some key races coming up and i am counting everything.  it gets a bit monotonous sometimes and i am being accused of being a bit over the top with weighing food and counting calories.  but cycling encompasses many  different aspects which can range from riding for pure enjoyment to absolute scientific precision.  i am sitting somewhere in between and am perversely enjoying the scientific aspect…especially if i see some results.  pass me the rice cakes.

ride leaders – support the club and help us become ambassadors for the sport in the public eye. put your name down as ride leader to ensure that the group ride is safe and organised. sign up here and earn cold hard voucher.

Alto Logo CMYKride leaders sponsorship – this months ride leaders are proudly sponsored by Alto Financial Services.  please see the previous post detailing what they provide and we thank them for encouraging our members to step up as ride leaders.  ride leaders will receive a $10 Dome voucher to be used after the saturday ride.  if you have a business that you want to promote to our members, check out the previous post to both promote your business and help out the club.

ride routes – after an absolutely glorious week of weather, the god of spring has decided to spring some rain on us. this weekend could be a little damp so be aware and take care.  this also may mean that the groups may be smaller and combined.  on sunday, quite a few of the regulars will be down at dardanup flying spr colours in the local tour.  make sure you know the ride routes so you can step up and help out.
