I am a SPR member and passionate about cycling. Riding your bike shouldn’t hurt – SIMPLE. As a rider you don’t have to accept that riding enjoyment means enduring some level of discomfort. Bikes may come in set sizes and geometries, but individuals don’t. As a bike fit specialists, I understand the role of the body alignment, flexibility and balance and how these factors influence each rider uniquely. When I apply these principles to each rider, I am able to fine-tune all the geometry of your bike, as well as assist with form and riding style to create a perfectly pain free ride.

RETÜL 3D MOTION CAPTURE BIKE FIT ON EXISTING BIKE: (Duration: 2.5hrs approx)

Includes:

• Biomechanical analysis
• Cycling-specific flexibility/functional strength assessment
• Dynamic data capture of 3D full body movements to determine optimal position
• Real-time recording of power output and physiologic response to help determine optimal position
• Comprehensive digital reports of 3D and 2D body parameters, 3D bicycle fit coordinates, and bike frame geometry
• An additional bicycle is priced at AUD$159 when bikes are fit consecutively (for example road and mountain bikes fit back to back).

A bike fit using Retül technology typically includes the following steps:

1. An initial physical assessment of the rider, and at this point address your concerns about performance, pain, or any other issues you want to address during the bike fit.
2. LED markers are strategically placed on eight anatomical points namely; the wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, heel, and toe. As you pedal, Retül’s sensor bar gathers real-time, three-dimensional data of your pedal strokes and movements.
3. Your data is compiled into a reader-friendly report for analysis. I can then assess your position and make necessary adjustments.

The Zin, Retül’s handheld digitizer, allows me to digitally measure your bike at 13-15 points, depending on the bike. The Zin can measure fixed points, contours, and curves, and provides a complete digital map of the bike.
