Interest in people wishing to lead a team for the BWA Swan Valley Cyclo Sportif (Sunday, 30th June 2013) has been awesome with it looking like we’ll be able to pull together 9 teams for the day.

The table below outlines the Team Leaders for the day and a few people that are already on board for each of the teams.

If you’re keen to join in with one of the teams then please leave a comment below to state your name and the team number you wish to ride in (e.g. Joe Bloggs, SPR2).  In doing this please be mindful of the average speed and distance of each group as indicated in the table.  The distances for each group are A grade – 80kms and B grade – 64kms.

As you can appreciate co-ordinating teams can sometimes be a challenging one so please note that you potentially could be asked to swap between groups prior to registering.

PLEASE DON’T ATTEMPT TO REGISTER ON THE BWA WEBSITE UNTIL WE’VE MANAGED TO FINALISE THE TEAM COMPOSITIONS…THANKS.

Teams will be finalised by next weekend so please indicate your interest ASAP.

  1. Ok, so as a paid member of SPR I am a member of Cycling Australia, and get newsletters from Cycling WA – but I am assuming that this does NOT make me a member of BWA (ie Bicycling WA)? so I can’t claim the discount???

    1. I’ve already rego’d for SPR 2. Not like I would be much help to the guys in SPR 1, hanging off the back chewing stem 😐

      1. Matthew a.k.a Buttercup would be great but apparently he doesn’t have a TT bike…boooo! Chewing steam Mr. Diesel….pfft! Dr. J would keep the lads in line for sure :-).

      2. That’s me out on 2 counts as well. No TT bike and already registered for SPR2. Someone has to push Jordan to the line so that our time won’t register (one day I’ll let go of this!)

  8. Nicole and Carla cannot make SPR 5 – so if there are any other princesses out there that would like to join in we can promise a good solid ride with lots of chatting!

  10. Ben Madsen could not find a Stetson in his size so please take out of SPR 1 and insert stand in Jonno Bolton (who says he has an array of Stetsons to chose from)..
