hill climb times

to get an understanding of how well we are all going, we have a  page of hill climb times.  as the sunday hills ride usually finishes on mundaring weir rd , this provides a good opportunity for a standardisation. 

the start of the climb is opposite a road called aldersyde.

mundaring weir rd then climbs up for 3.7kms at an average grade of 3.3%.  however this is made up of 2kms @ 4.3%, 1km flattish and 0.7km @ 4.5%.  not an exceptionally hard climb, but usually at the end of  a longer day of climbing.

the end is the 50 km/hr sign just before the round-about at the top in kalamunda.
