    • as the amount of garmin gps bike computers increase within the group, the amount of data that we produce also increases.  so who really was the fastest up the hill???  was it the rider who got there first, or the one that started further back and finished just behind 1st place.  well the gps doesn’t lie and strava allows you to rank yourself on a leaderboard to see who actually was the fastest on particular stretches.  this is why lately people have been neatly sitting in on a tuesday morning before blasting up mosman hill to get the best time.  it also tracks all of your rides so you can see if you are getting a pb on any of the segments.  so, what jordan has arranged is two things.  firstly, if you have a garmin and want to try strava out, we have a 2 month trial subscription.  this allows you to set up your account and start downloading data.  to do this, click on the link below and use the following code – JB2M11.  if you do like it and want to get a years subscription we also have access to a special code that give us a $20 discount bringing it to $39US per year.  to get this code, send me an email and i will check to see if your membership is current.  please don’t pass this code on to others that are not members.
