This Sunday is the 2nd race of our criterium series at Tech Park. As usual we will need a few people to put their hands up to help out on the day.
From last time we learnt a few things that will help everyone who is volunteering for this week. Firstly, we will divide the rego desk and the refreshment desk to help with the flow and ease the pressure when all the riders come in after the race to return their numbers and get a drink.
Secondly, we need to divide the marshaling duties a bit better. Basically if you are riding in D or C you need to be available to marshal for A & B. Likewise if you are riding A or B you should be helping out by marshaling the earlier grades.
This week we will also have a gap after C grade to do the presentations for D & C.
Anyway, put your name below in the comments if you are available to help. I will do a roster up in the next few days and send out the info packs to the volunteers soon after.

Finished WACE (new TEE) marking now, so I’m available this Sunday.
Was going to race C Grade this Sunday but as I have an injury and I am awaiting new parts, I am available for the whole day for duties such as rego desk, drink spiker, vehicle stopper, microphone spruiker, finish line number cruncher. However I won’t be available for Wheel Sucking, lead outs, Breakaway catching etc…
Happy to do whatever you need done Toby and will be available from early until late.

i need to borrow a tripod for a still camera for the finishline. does anyone have one (and that little bit you bolt onto the camera) that i can borrow on sunday.
