Tandem riding with a vision-impaired cyclist

Hi guys,

Hope all’s good with everyone. It’s been a few weeks since I last made an SPR ride. Miss you guys!

Anyway, I’ve recently started riding tandem with a female vision-impaired cyclist. It’s a great way to help someone out whilst doing something we all love…riding a bike! It’s also a challenge as it’s a completely different way of cycling. Still super fun though!

Alisha (the girl I ride with) is still looking for more training partners as there’s only so many times a week I can ride with her. Male or female, it doesn’t matter. There are also other competitive, vision-impaired cyclists in Perth looking for front riders. If you have some time and energy to donate to a great cause, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with either Alisha or another vision-impaired cyclist.

I know you’re all really busy, but it’s a very rewarding experience and also pretty good for the cycling fitness! Tandem bikes are a fair bit heavier than your carbon beauties 🙂
