ride routes 10th & 11th november

it’s good to be king

melbourne cup, usa elections, $100M lotto draw.  not really that much happening this week….well anything that has a impact on the bike world (however, $100M lotto win would certainly affect my bike world).  i am just tired.  after missing both rides last weekend while out at the kings of wanneroo, i decided that i will ride everyday this week.  4 down and 3 to go, but it is killing me at work.  i just want to sleep all day, but yet i have to try to stay awake in meetings that are putting me to sleep.  as for the elections, the king of perth has been crowned.

track day – don’t forget to register if you are coming to our come and try track day.  more info here.

  1. Quick question, I was planning to attend a Sunday ride this week. A few week ago Vicki from novice mentioned that she does a round the river route every week but I’ve noticed is not usually listed. Is it happening this Sunday?

I mean I could do Gooseberry/Kalamunda but prefer the flatter route…

    1. steph, there usually is one, but i am waiting for them to send me the ride route so i can list it with the others. it starts at 7 at coode st but heads off separately to the main hills ride.

    2. Steph, the ride starts at Coode, heads to Left Bank on the river for coffee via Causeway, Nedlands, Caremont (very briefly on sterling hway) then Mossie Park and I think North Freo and over the bridge to left bank. After coffee home following the river via Pt Walter, Applecross etc. Very social.

      1. Thanks, I’m planning to attend.
Peter, I’ll have stavya on which will record the ride route – want a copy?

  2. Main 3 Saturday ride – there will be four formal regroup points 1) Servo on Welshpool Road 2) Corner Welshpool and Canning 3) Servo corner Canning and Lesmurdie and 4) bus stop west side of Tonkin Hwy. The ride will also have three options 1) stop at regroup point one and wait for the riders to return 2) turn left on lesmurdie and ride up to the Servo at the corner of Canning (regroup point 3) or 30 do the whole ride. This will not be a smash fest and will be an opportunity for all at Main 3 level to try the hills. I hope everyone will have a go. See you tomorrow.
