the state junior criterium championships were run today before our normal summer criterium series. results are up on the events & results page. or here.
the 4th race of our summer series was also held today along with a special women’s ‘b’ & ‘c’ grade race sponsored by hall cycle training. this concluded our criterium race series for the summer and the final leaderboard has been updated. results can be found here.
a special thanks to all those that have helped out during the course of the race series, especially those that have come down when they are not racing. we really appreciate all the help and cannot run a race series without you.
Thanks to Dan/Pete, the commissaires and all the people who volunteered .. it is great to have a race series only a short distance from the City, and on such a regular basis. It was really well supported and well run – and some great consistent racing there in all grades.
To have the races well supported by the larger teams in Perth, plus patronage from people like World & National Champions Cameron & Travis Meyer, National Junior Criterium Champion Brad Lindfield, GB Olympic and World Champ Laura Trott (so hot right now) and Dani King shows how popular the series is.
Next year, we’d have to top that list of celebs – maybe we can get Sir Chris to ride a crit ? I’m sure Cathi will want to be the podium girl…

Great job Pete and all of the volunteers, people really do appreciate your time and effort.
