Yep Justin you are right – I got my dates wrong by one day…
The People’s Choice Crit is Sunday 18th Jan and the last stage of TdU is Sunday 25th Jan.

You will have a great time – the whole city of Radelaide comes alive and supports the event! The “buzz” starts around Sat 17th…
You may want to go to a couple of the race starts (usually in an inner city suburb) – a great place to enjoy breakfast, coffee and a get together before a ride out to view the race or visit Mt Lofty, the Beaches or whatever.

There will be SPR people riding out to view the stages every day (some of these are BIG days). Others will catch the starts and/or finish, and it’s always good to check out the event village regularly (guaranteed up close and personal with the athletes and Team staff). And then dinner together in a cafe maybe.

Lots of companies do various types of guided TdU Tours too. Some are simple “ride yourself” things and some are fully supported with sag wagons, food service etc. A friend of mine did it this year and loved it but did some BIG km’s every day.

You must do the Stirling / Mt Lofty / Norton Summit loop one day – with a FAST descent of Norton Summit Rd to test your nerve ….
