The 2014 MTB XC State Championships were held on Sunday 28th September at Carters rd Pines, Margaret River.
The course was fast, flowy, technical in places, and contained plenty of hills – making it an ideal Championships Course which rewarded the fit athletes with good bike handling skills.

The weather was perfect for MTB – cool, rain showers and a bit of mud (but not so great for the spectators).

It was good to see a couple of SPR kits racing and also a “Dome Coffees Cycling Team” kit (going a fair bit quicker …!)
