    Hi Nirvan, personally, while I agree that L/R power is not important for most I would steer clear of a left only power meter such as the Vector or Stages. The problem here is that while you won’t need the balance, ideally you do want a true measurement of total power; these meters only measure input from the left leg and double it. If you get a spider based meter (e.g. SRM, Power2Max, Quarq) or a hub based meter (Powertap) you will be measuring total input power directly. It’s not important to have individual left/right measurements to analyse, it IS important to get the whole power rather than double one side; if not, any discrepancies in left/right power that occur at different power levels will give false readings.

    Additionally, I don’t see why having a Campagnolo groupset limits your crank choices. It’s only a problem if you’re a diehard on keeping the Campagnolo crankset/spider pattern. Pick up an FSA Power2Max at $999, add any old 10/11 speed chainrings. So long as you match the BB standard it will work.
